Martha Lackey has been in education for 25 years. She has taught 2nd grade regular education for the Arlington Independent School District in Arlington, Texas, 1st - 2nd grade regular education for Midlothian and currently teaches 2nd -3rd grade Bilingual Education for the Midlothian Independent School District. She graduated with a B. S. from the University of Texas in Arlington and is currently enrolled through the Texas Computers Educators Conference (TCEA) Campus Technology Specialist Certification Program.
She has presented at numerous conferences including the Texas Computers Educators Conference (TCEA), Google Ninja Academy in Roundrock, Texas as well as the Educational Service Center for Region 10 on a variety of topics that all include integrating technology into the curriculum. Martha also makes an effort to attend the various local Edcamps in the Dallas Ft. Worth Metroplex and surrounding areas outside Dallas. She loves sharing ideas and strategies on the integration of Google Apps For Education tools (GAFE), her primary resource for digital learning in the primary classroom. Martha has served as a Campus Technology Liaison for the past 8 years and is on the Ellis County Teacher Advisory Committee (ECTAC) in Waxahachie, Texas.
