Hi! My name is Chris Aviles. I am the EDtech Coach for Fair Haven School district in Fair Haven, NJ. Before that, I taught high school English for nine years. There my classroom featured advanced gamification with a yearlong Alternate Reality Game, self-paced and self-directed mastery, BYOD, Passion-based and flipped learning, and blending!
At Fair Haven, I’m rolling out some great learning experiences for my kids in our Innovation Labs and beyond, while telling our schools’ stories using data and the digital arts. I started this site to share my thoughts and ideas with educators. If you like what you read, I’d love to come to your school and put on a workshop or speak at your event. Seriously, I really would!
