Barbara Bray, @bbray27, is a creative learning strategist who brought back her website/blog Rethinking Learning and is founder/owner of My eCoach that are both divisions of her company, Computer Strategies, LLC. Barbara is past co-founder of Personalize Learning, LLC and is the co-author of Make Learning Personal and How to Personalize Learning.
Barbara is a teacher, writer, change agent, risk-taker, instructional designer, connector, and visionary. She decided to shake up her life and started a podcast series, Conversations on Learning. From what she is learning from the conversations with awesome educators, thought leaders, and changemakers, Barbara has been inspired to design new materials and courses. She is also co-hosting a Twitter chat #rethink_learning with Shelly Vohra @raspberryberet3. Whenever anyone told Barbara she couldn’t do something, it became a challenge she wanted to tackle. Barbara knows that teachers need support with the transformation of teaching and learning so learners can develop agency. New and veteran teachers are overwhelmed with day-to-day tasks plus being asked to change the way they teach and give up control. The big question even today is “how do you fit everything in that is expected of you and meet the needs of all learners?” Barbara works tirelessly to find and research new tools and methods that help educators define their why. Now with multiple opportunities to network using social media and join various online communities, teachers and learners are confused. Barbara makes it her job to guide schools and educators so they can determine what is authentic, valid, cost-effective, safe, user-friendly, and relevant. She is relentlessly researching how all learners including teachers can follow their passions so they discover their purpose. Here's a quote she wrote some time ago: "Go with your strengths and interests,
find your passions so you can discover your purpose." Who is Barbara
